194 Lagos men beaten by wives in last 6 months – Report

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, (DSVRT), has stated that 194 males had been beaten by their spouses or partners in the previous six months. The figure was published by DSVRT in its bi-annual report. The report, which was made available to newsmen in Lagos,on Wednesday, covers the period from January to June 2021. Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), has said that Lekki, the fast-developing upper middle-class area of the Lagos metropolis, is emerging as the new hub of Internet scammers.
