UK announces Covid restrictions for anyone arriving from China

The United Kingdom (UK) government has announced that passengers coming into the country from China will soon be required to show a negative Covid test. According to local newspaper reports, the authorities announced on Friday that those coming into the UK’s airports from China, including London’s Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, must prove they have tested negative. Covid-19: FG declares 27 foreigners, 63 Nigerians as ‘Wanted’

The Federal Government has declared 90 people as ‘wanted for violating Covid-19 guidelines. This was announced by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, at the weekend. Kwara govt. begins distribution of 50,000 facemasks to schools

The Kwara State government has commenced the distribution of 50,000 facemasks to some selected schools in the State. The Federal Government has placed a travel ban on non-Nigerian passport holders and non-residents who visited Brazil, India, or Turkey within 14 days of gaining entry into Nigeria. Kano Govt. seals hospital for violating Covid-19 protocols

The Kano State government has sealed a private hospital, UMC Zahir Hospital, in Kano, for treating severe cases of coronavirus, Covid-19. This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday in Kano by the State’s Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba.
