The Nigerian Union of Journalists, (NUJ), has described the appointment of Femi Soneye as the Chief Communications Officer of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited, (NNPCL), as apt, given the transition in the oil industry. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer in the Abia State governorship election, Prof. Nnenna Oti, has revealed that she was offered financial incentives to manipulate the election results.
