On a sad note, the death has occurred of elder statesman Alhaji Abbas Dabo Sambo today morning at the age of 91. Born on September 16, 1935, in Anguwan Juma ward, Zaria, Alhaji Abbas Dabo Sambo started his civil service career from the colonial era. He was former administrator of the Kaduna Capital Territory, former capital of the Northern Nigerian Government in the 1960s.
