Says he graduated in 1979 Chicago State University (CSU) in the United States, has finally confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu attended the university, saying he graduated in 1979 with a Bachelors degree. Zamfara: Federal University expels students for protesting worsening insecurity

The Federal University Gusau, Zamfara State, has expelled four students and reportedly restricted others from accessing its registration portal for protesting against insecurity two months ago. It was gathered that 34 students were invited to face a disciplinary committee before they left for semester holiday for partaking in the protest. Three of the students who were questioned said they had been handed letters of expulsion, while others are waiting to receive their expulsion letters from the schools management. Universities suspend 461,745 students admission for 2021/2022 over strike

The suspension of admissions in Nigerian universities has led to the failure of the universities to process a total of 461,745 admissions, a published investigative report has revealed. The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board, (JAMB), in the statistics provided for our correspondent, however, blamed the strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU), for the development. Some institutions confirmed suspending the process because of the ASUU strike; the ASUU strike is a factor. The Kano Zone of ASUU has expressed concern over alleged intimidation and threats against some of its officials by the management of the Kaduna State University (KASU).
