The Emirate of Qatar, an independent emirate on the west coast of the Persian Gulf, has commenced the construction of 500,000 housing units for less-privileged residents of Kaduna State. The Mega Economic City project was officially inaugurated by Qatar’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Ali Bin-Ghanem al-Hajri, on Wednesday, in Kaduna. Man bags 30 months jail term in Kaduna for N5.5m fraud

A Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday sentenced a 45-year-old man, Kingsley James, to 30 months imprisonment for N5.5 million fraud. The convict was tried on a two-count charge of theft and obtaining money by false pretenses after he pleaded guilty.
