Power supply to drop again, TCN alerts Nigerians

Power supply will drop by 50 megawatts on Wednesday, it was learnt. The Transmission Company of Nigeria, (TCN), in a statement on Monday, said the drop would be as a result of planned annual “preventive maintenance” on the line bay at Lekki Transmission Sub-station in Lagos. Some parts of the country have been plunged into total blackout following the collapse of the nation’s power grid. Four states in the North West zone were thrown into darkness following the collapse.
