Insurgency: Boko Haram kills 1,868 security operatives in two years Report

It has emerged that no fewer than 1,868 members of security forces may have been killed in the North-East by Boko Haram between 2018 and 2020. Commercial motorcyclists, security operatives clash in Abuja

Some commercial motorcyclists, otherwise known as Okada riders, clashed with security operatives yesterday in Karu, one of the satellite towns of the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), Abuja. It was gathered that the crisis erupted when the Okada riders blocked the Nyanya-Karshi Road, leaving motorists stranded. According to reports, the protesters were said to have burnt used tyres on the main road and also attacking security agents drafted to the scene with stones.
