’Vandals, not bandits, attacked train’ – NRC MD Following the explosion that rocked the railway track of the Abuja to Kaduna corridor, the Nigeria Railway Corporation, (NRC), has suspended train services along the route indefinitely. Scheduled train service between Lagos and Ibadan will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, twice a day, the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has said. The NRC will mark the full operation of the Standard Gauge service since the formal commissioning by President Buhari last week. The management of NRC announced the schedule yesterday, in a statement issued by its Lagos District Manager, Jerry Oche. FG unveils N900m e-ticketing platform for Abuja-Kaduna rail service

The Federal Government has launched a N900 million e-ticketing platform for the Kaduna-Abuja rail services of the Nigerian Railway Corporation. The Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi revealed this in a statement. According to him, the platform would enhance efficiency, save time, and promote accountability, as well as reduce leakage and promote economic growth. ؠMaintains excessive ticket prices The Nigerian Railway Corporation, (NRC) has suspended its social distancing policy on sitting arrangement on the Kaduna – Abuja route.
