NRC to launch e-ticketing for train trips next week

The Nigerian Railway Corporation, (NRC), has announced that it will launch electronic ticketing (e-ticketing) on its standard gauge network next week. FG unveils N900m e-ticketing platform for Abuja-Kaduna rail service

The Federal Government has launched a N900 million e-ticketing platform for the Kaduna-Abuja rail services of the Nigerian Railway Corporation. The Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi revealed this in a statement. According to him, the platform would enhance efficiency, save time, and promote accountability, as well as reduce leakage and promote economic growth.
