The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare says it is aware of the mounting concern regarding the recent Diphtheria outbreak across several states with over 11,000 suspected case. The ministry gave the assurance that urgent vaccination efforts were underway. The National Primary Health Care Development Agency, (NPHCDA), announced the flag-off ceremony for Covid-19 vaccination in Nigeria. The vaccines were administered at the National Hospital Abuja, in an event chaired by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, (SGF) and Chairman, Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19, Boss Mustapha, and reported by the NPHCDA on social media. FG launches on-line registration platform for Covid-19 vaccination

The Federal Government yesterday launched the electronic registration platform to enable eligible Nigerians get vaccinated against the deadly Covid-19 pandemic. The T.E.A.C.H strategy, which combines indigenous (traditional) approaches with modern technologically enabled systems of vaccination, will leverage experiences gained during the polio immunisation programmes.
