President of Miyetti-Allah Kautal Kore, Bello Bodejo became a free man yesterday, after the Federal Government withdrew alleged terrorism charges filed against him. The charges against Bodejo were withdrawn by the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) on resumption of the trial yesterday. Justice Inyang Edem Ekwo, of the Federal High Court in Abuja, has fixed May 29 to begin the trial of detained leader of the pan-Fulani cultural group, Miyetti-Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Bodejo. The court fixed the date after dismissing the application for bail of the accused person. The Federal Government has filed a criminal charge against Bello Bodejo, leader of the socio-cultural organisation, ‘Miyetti-Allah Kautal Hore’ group, over an alleged unlawful establishment of an ethnic militia group. The Miyetti-Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, (MACBAN) has raised the alarm over the whereabouts of its National Vice President, Munnir Atiku Lamido.
