Lagos-Abuja superhighway to be completed in 4 yrs – Umahi

The Federal Government has revealed that the proposed Abuja-Lagos highway will be completed in four years. Minister of Works, David Umahi, disclosed this in a press conference on Friday. According to him, driving from Lagos to Abuja will take 4 hours on the highway. He also said the road will be made solely with concrete, adding that it is cheaper than asphalt. Work on Abuja-Kaduna-Kano highway suspended over insecurity – FG

The Federal Government has said the rehabilitation of the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano highway was suspended due to security threats after the March 2022 train attack.
