The Federal Government has revealed that the proposed Abuja-Lagos highway will be completed in four years.

Minister of Works, David Umahi, disclosed this in a press conference on Friday.
According to him, driving from Lagos to Abuja will take 4 hours on the highway. He also said the road will be made solely with concrete, adding that it is cheaper than asphalt.
Earlier, Umahi had said a similar road would be constructed from Port-Harcourt to Lagos.
He explained that they would be provided with state-of-the-art facilities for the comfort of the travelling public.
