Death toll from Lagos train accident rises to six

Six people have died following an accident involving a train and a BRT bus in Lagos, the state government said. Recall that the BRT bus, conveying staff of Lagos State Government, collided with an on-coming train at the PWD rail crossing in Shogunle area of the state yesterday morning. The bus, number 33, heading to Alausa from Isolo, took a wrong turning at the PWD rail crossing in Shogunle, and collided with an oncoming train. Lagos: Police, Alaba traders in deadly clash, 1 shot dead

One person was shot dead yesterday in Lagos, as traders at Alaba Rago Market clashed with policemen from the Okokomaiko Division. It was gathered that the Police had gone to effect the arrest of a suspect at the market, and came under massive attack from a large number of traders.
