The Organised Labour, through their local chapters in Lagos State, yesterday shored-up the support base for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asíwájú Bola Tinubu and re-election of the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in the forthcoming election.
They openly declared support and threw their weight behind the APC candidates.
At a mega solidarity rally which was held in Ikeja, their leaders said the support was borne out of the governor’s landmark achievements and his implementation of Labour-friendly policies in governance.
The Nigerian Labour Concress (NLC) Chairman in the state, Comrade Funmilayo Sessi, and her Trade Union Congress (TUC) counterpart, Comrade Gbenga Ekundayo, led thousands of workers to rally at the Police Training College, in Ikeja GRA.
