There was bloodbath in the Ojota area of Lagos, yesterday, as Yoruba ‘nation’ agitators unleashed mayhem in the area. According to reports, the Police used teargas to disperse Yoruba Nation protesters in the area in the pandemonium that ensued. The entire area was deserted; the expressway was a battleground, as policemen engaged the agitators in a fight. Corruption gulped N4.85tr security allocation, say experts

Some security experts and a civil society organisation have said the N4.85 trillion spent by the Buhari administration was gulped by corruption allegedly perpetrated by the ‘corrupt service chiefs’ and other officers. According to unverifiable reports, the Federal Government has provided N4.85trillion to the Armed Forces in the last eight years through its yearly budgetary allocations.
