Suspected Lakurawa terrorists have attacked a mosque in Kebbi State, killing five worshippers and injuring three others in what authorities described as a reprisal following a failed ambush on a Nigerian Army convoy. The assailants reportedly stormed the Daɗinkowa community mosque, in Maiyama local government area, on Wednesday evening and opened fire on congregants during the taraweeh prayers. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has supported Nigeria with 9.98 million dollars to improve Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) projects.
