The Federal High Court sitting in Kano has adjourned a suit filed by the Islamic Research and Da’awa Foundation, Abuja, against Arewa24TV and the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to June 9, 2026. The Islamic Research and Da’awa Foundation instituted the legal action over allegations that the television station aired content it considers indecent, suggestive and inconsistent with Islamic and Hausa cultural values.
