…To return after leave expires
President Bola Tinubu departed Abuja yesterday for the United Kingdom (UK) to begin two-week vacation as part of his yearly leave.
In a statement issued yesterday, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, Bayo Onanuga, said the President will utilize a two-week break for work and introspection on economic policies.
Onanuga added that Tinubu will return to the country at the end of the vacation.
The statement reads.“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave,
”He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms and will return to the country after the leave expires”.
Recall that Tinubu had on August 29 left Abuja for China, but stopped in Dubai before arriving in Beijing on September 1. He returned to Abuja after a fruitful two-week trip to China and the UK, where key diplomatic engagements were made.
