The Rivers State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Dagogo Iboroma, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, (SAN), has explained that the State High Court in the State did not declare that Martin Amaewhule and 26 others are still members of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), and the State House of Assembly. The Kano State House of Assembly has approved the request of Gov. Abba Yusuf for the appointment of 20 Special Advisers.This followed the adoption of a motion by deputy speaker, Muhammad Butu (NNPP-Rimingado/Tofa) during plenary on Wednesday in Kano. Alhaji Zubairu Masu (NNPP-Sumaila) supported the motion and was unanimously adopted when put to a voice vote by the speaker Ismail Falgore. FOI: Why el-Rufai Must domesticate Act – NGO

A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Transparency and Accountability in Totality Initiative (TinT), given reasons why  Kaduna State Governor Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai and members of the State House of Assembly must domesticate the Freedom of Information (FoI) Act in the state before the end of his tenure in May.
