Niger House of Assembly has approved the appointment of the 20 Special Advisers nominees sent by Governor Umar Bago. The Assembly approved the list during plenary in Minna on Wednesday. Speaker of the Assembly, Abdulmalik Sarkindaji read the letter from the governor at plenary with the list of the Special Advisers nominees and sought the approval of the House. The Kano State House of Assembly has approved the request of Gov. Abba Yusuf for the appointment of 20 Special Advisers.This followed the adoption of a motion by deputy speaker, Muhammad Butu (NNPP-Rimingado/Tofa) during plenary on Wednesday in Kano. Alhaji Zubairu Masu (NNPP-Sumaila) supported the motion and was unanimously adopted when put to a voice vote by the speaker Ismail Falgore.
