17 perish in fatal road crash while returning from wedding in Kano

No fewer than 17 young men have been confirmed dead from a fatal motor accident along Kano-Zaria highway at the weekend. According to sources, the persons lost their lives when they went to attend a wedding ceremony in honour of their friend in Zaria on Saturday and were on their way back to Kano when the accident happened. At least two police officers have been confirmed dead following a road accident involving the convoy of the Adams Oshiomhole in Edo state. Two other persons sustained injuries from the accident which occurred at Oluku junction along the busy Benin-Lagos highway. According to report, the accident happened in Oluku junction.
