Over ten illegal refineries have been uncovered at Odagwa community in Etche local government area of Rivers State. The illegal refineries were discovered by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Commandant-General’s Special Intelligence Squad. According to the security agency, the illegal refineries had an estimated 500,000 litres of Crude oil warehoused in about 50 illegally constructed Reservoirs.
