A female Internally Displaced Person (IDP) in Borno State, Aisha Umar, has taken her life after allegedly being raped by an official of an International Non-Governmental Organisation, (name withheld). The deceased, who was performing menial jobs for survival, was reportedly lured to the apartment of the suspect at 303 Housing Estate, near Dalori IDP camp, Maiduguri, under the guise of cleaning the place. A 65-year-old man, Durodola Ogundele, has been arrested by the Police for allegedly raping his 85-year-old stepmother. The Police alleged that Ogundele committed the offence in Ayetoro-Ekiti, Ido-Osi local government area of Ekiti State. The Sokoto Chief Magistrate Court has framed fresh charges against three middle-aged men that allegedly circulated nude video of a would-be bride. The accused include one Aminu Dalhatu, reportedly a son of a special adviser to the State governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and his friends.
