Former Nigeria”s Minister of Petroleum Resources, Professor Jibril Aminu is dead. Professor Aminu, who died in the early hours of yesterday in Abuja, was 85 years old haven been born in August 1939, at Song, Adamawa State. He was also a Senator representing Adamawa-Central from 2003 to 2007. An issued statement informing the Muslim Ummah of his death said Salatul Janazah (Funeral Prayer) will be held for him at National Mosque, Abuja, while his burial will later be held at Song, Adamawa State.
