Five inmates of Jos Correctional Centre, who attempted to bolt away yesterday, amidst an exchange of gunfire with attackers, were stopped. Unidentified gunmen, suspected to be bandits, attacked the correctional centre facility, situated in the heart of Jos metropolis, which is not far from the State’s Police headquarters as well as the Department of State Services, (DSS). Prison Attack: Fleeing inmate rearrested in Plateau village

One out of the six inmates who escaped after an attack by gunmen on the premises of the High Court in Plateau State has been rearrested.
