Plateau: Masquerades invade church, flog pastor

…Worshippers run helter-skelter Masquerades yesterday disrupted a church service in Shikal village of Langtang-South local government council of Plateau State. According to reports, they flogged the Pastor and worshippers, who ran helter-skelter before vandalising properties belonging to the church. A village source, who spoke to newsmen on the incident, informed that the masquerades invaded the church while the service was on-going. He added that they proceeded to beat everyone on sight that scampered to safety, before destroying chairs and other items.

Jos jailbreak: 11 killed, 262 inmates escaped, 10 recaptured – Official

The Plateau State Custodial Centre, yesterday, confirmed that 9 inmates, one staffer and a gunman were killed after a jailbreak incident at the facility.
