Armed men suspected to be bandits have invaded the Federal Government College, Birnin-Yauri, Kebbi State and abducted a yet-to-be specified number of female students. Details of the incident are still sketchy but according to reports, a security operative was shot dead during the operation. The attackers, who rode on motorcycles, were said to have stormed the school from neighbouring Rijau Forest in the early hours of Thursday. Kaduna: Residents abducted in another armed attack by unknown gunmen in Zaria

Barely two days after an attack on Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, Kaduna state, unknown gunmen have again attacked Kofar-Gayan and Kofar-Kona areas of Zaria and abducted some residents. Suspected kidnappers attacked the Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic in Zaria, Kaduna State, last night, abducting scores of students and lecturers in the institution. Islamic school abduction: Bandits demand N110m for the release of pupils

Bandits who abducted pupils of the Salihu Tanko Islamiyya School, in Tegina town, in Rafi local government area of Niger State are demanding N110 million as ransom for the release of his pupils. Kaduna: Nasarawa lawmaker kidnapped in Sanga forest

A member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Isma’il Danbaba has reportedly been kidnapped. Danbaba, who represents Nasarawa-Central constituency, was kidnapped on  Saturday evening along Sanga forest,  in Sanga local government area of Kaduna State. The lawmaker was said to be on his way to the Plateau State capital, Jos, for a workshop. Kaduna Gov’t confirms attack in travellers on Abuja-Kaduna highway

The Kaduna State government has verified that some travellers were attacked by bandits on the Abuja-Kaduna highway on Friday. This was disclosed in a statement released by the Kaduna State Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.
