Abductors of 136 pupils of Salihu Tanko Islamiyya School Tegina in Niger State have indicated that four of the pupils are dead. A former member of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, who represented Auyo constituency, Haladu Bako Uza, has regained his freedom after reportedly payment of a ransom. Bandits demand fresh N50 million ransom for remaining 83 Bethel Baptist students

Abductors of students of Bethel Baptist High School, Damishi, Kaduna, have asked for a fresh N50 million ransom for the remaining 83 students in their custody. About N100 million ransom is alleged to have been demanded by the bandits to be paid by the parents for the release of their children in batches from their captivity. Abductors of paramount ruler of Jaba Chiefdom, Kpop Ham, Gyet Maude in Jaba local government area of Kaduna State, have demanded N100 milliom ransom. Police rescue 100 kidnapped victims without paying ransom in Zamfara

The Nigerian Police, in Zamfara State, have rescued one hundred kidnapped victims without ransom. Addressing newsmen in Gusau on the successes, the State Police Command’s spokesperson, Superintendent Shehu Mohammed, said they were rescued by the troops in Dajin Kabaro Forest, after spending forty-two days in captivity.
