Social register: UNICEF integrates 20,800 Almajiri in Katsina

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), has supported the validation and registration of 20,800 Almajiri children to the social register in Katsina State. Several farmers working on their farms were abducted Tuesday morning when terrorists attacked five communities in the Batsari area of Katsina State. The farmers taken were from Nahuta, Madogara, Dan Tsuntsu, Zamfarawa and Salihar Dadare villages. At least twenty-five persons have been abducted during an attack on New Life for All Church in Kankara local government area of Katsina State on Sunday.
