The police in Katsina Thursday arrested a self-acclaimed inspector with the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) including five other suspects and seized 164 allegedly stolen cattle. Some angry youths from Turare, Marke and Dogon Ruwa villages in Dutsin-ma Local Government Area of Katsina State early Thursday morning blocked Dutsin-ma – Kankara highway, in protest against banditry in their communities. A bomb explosion had occured on Saturday at Yammama village near Malumfashi town in Katsina state. The Police Command said five children were killed. The spokesman, SP Gambo Isah, said six other children were injured in the blast that occurred just before noon.
