Kaduna State government says that it had completed the 35-kilometre asphalt road linking Gadar-Gayan via a spur at Gwaraji to Maraban Kujama. Gayan is in Igabi local government area (LGA), while Gwaraji is located at LGA and Maraban Kujama is in Chikun LGA. According to the state government, the project includes a 130-metre bridge across the River Kaduna, which traverses 76 farming communities, connecting three LGAs. Kaduna State government has extended its free Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) mass transit scheme indefinitely, citing its “overwhelming positive impact” on residents.
