Emirates airline has disclosed plans to suspend operations into Nigeria indefinitely from 29th October, 2022. In an issued statement yesterday, the airline said it has no option but to suspend flights to/from Nigeria from 29 October, to mitigate against further losses moving forward. International flights resume at Abuja airport

International flights resumed at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport (NAIA) Abuja, on Monday, when an Airbus A350 aircraft operated by Ethiopian Airlines taxied to a halt at the airport terminal. The aircraft with registration number ET-AUC, which took off from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport with 180 passengers onboard, landed at the NAIA at about 2pm and was received to a water cannon reception. NCAA approves Lagos, Abuja airports to resume international flights on September 5

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, and Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, as the two airports allowed to resume international flight operations as from September 5, 2020.
