Governor Uba Sani has disclosed that Kaduna State has attracted over US$3.5 billion in investment commitments since the beginning of his administration in 2023.
The Governor made this known in a goodwill message at the 2nd Nigeria–Saudi Diaspora Investment & Tourism Exhibition Summit 2026, held at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.
The two-day summit, attended by the Vice-President, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, alongside government officials, investors, diplomats, business leaders, and development partners, focused on strengthening economic cooperation, trade, tourism, and investment between Nigeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In his message, delivered on his behalf by the Honourable Commissioner for Business, Innovation, and Technology, Mrs. Patience Fakai (FNIM), Governor Uba Sani commended the organisers for providing a platform that promotes international collaboration and economic growth. He highlighted Kaduna State’s significant progress in improving security, infrastructure, ease of doing business, and institutional reforms.
The Governor also showcased Kaduna’s investment potential across key sectors, including agro-industrial value chains, manufacturing, mining, renewable energy, technology, infrastructure, housing, and tourism. He further highlighted ongoing transport projects such as the Kaduna Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, modern bus terminals, and the proposed Kaduna Light Rail Project, aimed at enhancing connectivity and driving sustainable economic growth.
Reaffirming Kaduna’s position as a leading investment destination, Governor Uba Sani invited investors, development partners, and diplomatic missions to take advantage of the state’s investor-friendly policies, transparent regulatory environment, and strong institutional support.
