Gunmen yesterday evening attacked the Zonkwa Police Station in Zangon-Kataf local government area of Kaduna State, killing at least two officers. The assailants, who reportedly stormed the station located near Kamyim Hotel in the Kurmin-Bi area of Zonkwa, opened fire immediately after arrival, sending residents fleeing in panic. Gunmen yesterday attacked the convoy of the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, along the Abuja-Lokoja highway and injured his security aides.
