Some residents of Zaria, in Kaduna State, yesterday looted numerous cartons of noodles from a moving truck carrying food supplies owned by the BUA Company. According to a local resident in the Dogarawa area of Zaria, the incident occurred after youths, accusing the company of unjustified price hikes, blocked the truck. Seizing the opportunity, several residents rushed to take cartons of noodles loaded at the back of the truck. Dogarawa is a settlement located on the outskirt of Zaria along the expressway.
