President Bola Tinubu has appointed Deputy Controller-General Olumode Samuel Adeyemi as the new Head of the Federal Fire Service. The appointment will take effect from August 14, 2025. The new appointment comes ahead of the retirement of the current Controller-General, Engr. AbdulGaniyu Jaji Olola, who will be leaving office on August 11 after reaching the age of 60.
