…States IGR drops to N1.31tr in 2020 Lagos, Delta, Kaduna and Ogun States topped the 2020 Internal Generated Revenue (IGR) chart in the country, a report released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has shown. The NBS disclosed this on Friday, in its “Internally Generated Revenue At State Level” report for the fourth quarter and full-year 2020 published on its website. Two suspected kidnappers have died of gunshot injuries after a firefight with the Police in Abuja, the nation’s capital. The firefight with the criminals occured yesterday at Naharati village, along the Abaji axis in the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT). The FCT Police Command spokesperson, Mariam Yusuf, disclosed this in a statement, adding that the deceased died while receiving treatment at the hospital. The kidnappers of seven orphans and a security guard at the Rachel’s Orphanage Home, situated in Naharati, Abaji Area Council, in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, have demanded for N30 million ransom.
