The Nigerian Army yesterday declared eight persons wanted in connection with the killing of 17 officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army in Okuama, Delta State. The Army, in an update posted on its official page on X, identified the suspects as Prof Ekpekpo Arthur, Reuben Baru, Alevwru Daniel, Akata Malawa David, Andaowe Deniss Bakriri, Igboli Ebi, Sinclear Oliki, and Clements Ikolo Oghenerukevwe. Delta: Military deploys swamp buggies to besieged Okuama community

The Nigerian military, Tuesday, moved in swamp buggies to the besieged Okuama community in Ughelli-South local government area of Delta State, in continuation of the on-going razing of the community. The two swamp buggies, which were off-loaded from trailer-trucks into barges at the Bomadi Police Division waterfront, were transported onward into the creeks. Akpabio under fire for linking soldiers’ killing to mercenaries
