Bandits bearing sophisticated weapons have rustled more than 500 cattle at Kasuwar-Daji Market, in Ƙauran-Namoda local government area of Zamfara State. The state chairman of the Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Comrade Aminu Garba, said the incident was not the first of its kind, noting that a similar attack occurred about four years ago. Military airstrike disrupts cattle rustling activities, mops up bandits in Kaduna forest
The Defence Headquarters says the Air Component of Operation Thunder Strike has disrupted activities of cattle rustlers in Kwyambana Forest area in Kaduna State, killing several bandits. The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche, said in a statement on Saturday in Abuja, that the operation was conducted on November 12.
