The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), has declared the Ƙauran-Namoda South Constituency by-election in Zamfara State inconclusive. The Returning Officer, Professor Lawal Sa’adu of the Federal University, Gusau, announced the decision, explaining that the margin between the leading party and the runner-up was less than the total number of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) collected in polling units where the election was cancelled. The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), has announced that by-elections will be held in 16 federal and state constituencies, as well as senatorial districts, across 12 states of the federation. The elections are scheduled for today, Saturday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at polling units in the affected constituencies.
