Borno killings: ‘Act before we all die’ – CAN to Buhari

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) yesterday condemned the murder of Borno rice farmers in the strongest terms. More than 40 Zabarmari indigenes were slaughtered by Boko Haram last Saturday and buried on Sunday. Zabarmari attack: ‘We killed 78 farmers’ — Shekau claims

Leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau, has said the group is responsible for the recent killing of farmers in Borno State.  In a video released yesterday, Shekau said at least 78 farmers were killed in the tragic incident.  The farmers were killed after the Boko Haram insurgents attacked them at Zabarmari community, in Jere local government area of the State.
