The Federal Government has invested over ₦200 billion in the agricultural sector as part of its efforts to boost food production and ensure national food security. The Federal Government has pledged to support about 250,000 wheat farmers with a 50 percent input subsidy to cultivate about 250,000 hectares during this years dry season.
