President Bola Tinubus preferred candidate has been revealed by Borno-South, Senator Ali Ndume as the race for the next Senate President heats up.
Ndume revealed that Tinubus top choice for the Senate Presidency is Senator Godswill Akpabio, the consensus choice of the All-Progressives Congress, (APC).
The lawmaker claimed, during a television programme yesterday, that Tinubu had personally informed him that Akpabio was his preferred candidate for the position.
According to Ndume: The President told me that his preferred candidate is Akpabio, and that I should lead the campaign.
