The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, (NAHCON), has scheduled June 9 for the commencement of return flights for Nigerian pilgrims who participated in the 2025 Hajj.

Its Chairman/CEO, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh, announced this in a statement issued in Minna yesterday, while congratulating the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the festival of sacrifice.
Saleh said, :The return journey for Nigerian pilgrims will begin on the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah, corresponding to June 9”.
He noted that the first return flights would include pilgrims from Imo State with Air Peace, Bauchi State with Max Air, and Kebbi and Sokoto States with Flynas, and urged the first batch of pilgrims to prepare for their return and to pray for a smooth and successful return operation for all pilgrims.
Saleh also encouraged the Muslim faithful to reflect on the spiritual essence of the Hajj and the lessons it teaches.
He emphasised that trust in Allah, obedience to leadership, and discipline are keys to the prosperity of communities and nations.
Saleh also praised NAHCON board members and ad-hoc staff for their unwavering commitment and service to the guests of Allah.
