Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani has reiterated his administration’s pledge to back security efforts, aiming for lasting peace and development.

Governor Sani, who made these remarks at the ‘2024 Base socio-cultural activities’ at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Base in Kaduna, where he was the Special Guest of Honour.

The Governor commended security agencies’ collaborative efforts, urging them to “remain vigilant and sustain the onslaught against bad elements”.

Speaking at the event, Governor Sani, represented by Dr. James Kanyip,  praised NAF personnel for successful military operations in the North West and their cordial relations with residents. He emphasised cultural diversity’s crucial role in promoting national unity and values through celebrations.

The gathering showcased the strong partnership between the Government and security agencies in Kaduna State.

According to Governor Sani, “The Base Socio-Cultural activities is a platform for fostering comradeship amongst personnel, and celebrating our diversity as the cultural performances showcased Nigeria’s rich heritage”.

The Governor praised the event organizers for highlighting the nation’s unity in diversity.

Present at the event were the Air Officer Commanding (AOC) Air Training Command,   Abubakar Abdullahi; General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1st Mechanized Division, Mayirenso Saraso; Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, among other distinguished personalities.
