Kaduna bombing: Northern Govs donate N180m to victims

Governors of the 19 Northern States, under the aegis of the Northern Governors Forum, (NGF), have donated N180 million to the victims of the accidental bomb at Tudun-Biri village, in Igabi local government area of Kaduna State.

The Forum’s Chairman and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammad Yahaya, who made the announcement alongside other colleagues, presented the symbolic cheque to the governor of the State, Senator Uba Sani, yesterday, during their maiden meeting.

The meeting, hosted by Governor Uba Sani, was held at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House, Kaduna, and was the maiden gathering of the governors since their  emergence as governors in the May 2023 general elections.

Among the Governors present at the meeting were those of Katsina State, Dikko Radda, and the deputy governors of Jigawa, Bauchi, Kano, Yobe, and Kwara States, who are representing their State governors.
