For failing to pay ransom to their kidnappers, three out of those kidnapped from Ungwan-Bulus, in the Chikun local government area of Kaduna State, have been killed by their abductors, according to reports.

The Spokesperson for the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Mohammed Jalige, confirmed the killing.
The Chief of Ungwan Bulus community, Gideon Haruna Goni, confirmed the incident to newsmen, saying the terrorists called the community to inform them to go and pick up the corpses of those killed around Dutse community, along the Kaduna-Abuja highway.
The terrorists also reportedly threatened to kill more unless a ransom is paid.
The Chief said, “The terrorists called that if they don’t pay the N20m before midnight on Tuesday, others would be assassinated”.
He appealed to the criminals not to kill anyone and called on the Kaduna and the Federal Government, as well as religious clerics, to come to their rescue to prevent the killings of more victims.
Recall that about two weeks ago, bandits attacked the community, killing one local and abducting several others. They also attacked neighbouring communities like Juji, Unguwan Gimbiya, and Sabo GRA.
