The Former Caucus Chairman of the Kaduna State All Progressives Congress, (APC), Alhaji (Dr.) Ahmed Tijjani Ramalan, has warned Nigerians, especially from the North, against voting for political parties based on sentiments or attachment, instead of focusing on the characters of political hopefuls in the next 2023 general election.

Vote for personality, the APC chieftain advised, and search for folks who you believe will do something wonderful for your State, your country, your children tomorrow.
Ramalan, who is the Executive Chairman, Atar Communications Nig. Ltd, (owners of Liberty TV & FM Radio stations), made the recommendation to airport correspondents on Saturday, also bemoaned the countrys worsening insecurity, poverty and suffering, claiming that politicians were unconcerned about the peoples well-being, resulting in the increasing difficulty.
Dr. Ramalan, while blaming the countrys pervasive poverty on rising food prices, pointed out that other items such as diesel, which previously sold for N187 per litre, is now selling for over N700 per litre, implying that the Nigerian masses will feel the inflationary impact adversely.
He also pointed out that Nigeria was too richly endowed to be in such level of poverty it is currently wallowing in, and bemoaned the fact that most of the elected and appointed Northern politicians in all the three arms of Government, i.e: Executive, Legislature and the Judiciary in the States and Federal Government had selfishly failed to benefit the masses in general.
